Accessibility statement
This site should be usable by every homeowner on the Treasure Coast, with a screen reader, a keyboard, a phone or a magnifier, and the phone line is always the fallback.

The standard we build to
The target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA on every page. In practice that means each page has one heading outline that reads in order, a link at the very top that jumps past the menu, and named regions for the header, the navigation, the main content and the footer. The menu and every form on the site can be operated with a keyboard alone, and whatever has focus shows a visible outline. Text sits on backgrounds that meet the AA contrast ratio and can be enlarged to twice its size without anything disappearing. Each photograph carries a written description, each form field carries a label, and no part of the site times out while you are filling something in. Nothing flashes, and for visitors whose device asks for reduced motion the few animations on the site are switched off.
What may still fall short
Some photographs show a fault or a piece of hardware that is hard to put fully into words; the description says what matters for the page it sits on. The site is rebuilt and checked by machine and by hand on each change, but a new page can carry a mistake for a while before it is caught. If a description, a table or a control does not work with your software, we want to hear about it.
Reaching us another way
Nothing on this site is the only route to help. Every question, callback request or complaint you could raise here can be raised by calling (772) 303-4314, at any hour of any day. To report a problem with the site itself, email hello@portstluciegaragedoor.com or call the same number and say which page it was and what happened. A person replies within two business days and the fault is corrected where it can be.
