Referral marketing disclosure
How this website earns its keep, who does the work on your door, and what that means for the price you pay, answered question by question.
Current as of October 2026. Contact: hello@portstluciegaragedoor.com.
Who runs this website?
Port St. Lucie Garage Door (portstluciegaragedoor.com) is a local marketing and booking site for garage door repair and installation in Port St. Lucie, St. Lucie County and Martin County, Florida. It is operated from Port St. Lucie. There is no showroom; the site and the phone line are the front door.
Who fixes my door?
Independent, insured garage door technicians and installing contractors in the Port St. Lucie area, not the operator of this website. Which one takes your job depends on the kind of work, where the house is and who is free. If you ask, we tell you who is coming before anything is scheduled.
How does the website get paid?
When a call or form from this site turns into a job, the contractor who did the work may pay us a referral or advertising fee. That is an arrangement between us and the contractor. It is not added to your bill and it does not change the written price you are given.
Does the fee affect which contractor I get?
No. Assignment follows the job type, the location and availability. A contractor who draws complaints stops receiving work from us, whatever the fee; our complaints policy describes how that is tracked.
What happens when I call?
The line is picked up at any hour by an automated receptionist that takes your name, number, address and what the door is doing. A person then calls you back to set a time. Calls may be recorded, and you hear a notice saying so when the call connects.
Is anything tracked?
Calls and form submissions are counted so we know which pages bring in work, and the site uses a visitor counter that does not set cookies or build a profile. Our privacy policy lists what is kept and who sees it. None of this affects your price.
Whose paperwork and whose warranty?
The contractor's. They carry their own general liability and workers' compensation coverage, and for a new door or a full replacement the installing contractor holds the Florida state license the job requires and pulls the permit with the City of Port St. Lucie, St. Lucie County, Martin County or Indian River County. The warranty on the work is the one written into the agreement you sign with them. Ask for the certificate of insurance and read the agreement before you sign it.
Can I get another quote?
Yes, and nobody here will try to talk you out of it. The written quote from the contractor holds for 30 days, which is time enough to compare.
Where might I have seen this site?
In search results, and sometimes in paid advertising. Any outside service used to run or measure that advertising receives only what it needs for the task and nothing about you beyond that.
Who do I ask about any of this?
Call (772) 303-4314 or write to hello@portstluciegaragedoor.com. If you want to know whether a referral is involved in your job or how to reach the contractor directly, ask; we would rather say so plainly than have you guess.
