Six short sections on what we learn about you when you call or write, where it goes, and how to have it changed or removed.
Current as of October 2026. Questions go to hello@portstluciegaragedoor.com.
1. The details you give us
The callback form asks for a name, a phone number, a ZIP code, a short choice about what the door is doing, and an optional note. The phone line, which is picked up at any hour by an automated receptionist, takes the same details by voice, and the system keeps the number you dialed from. Calls may be recorded so the technician gets the address and the fault right; a notice at the start of the call says so, and you can ask for recording to be turned off.
2. What the site records on its own
This site uses a visitor counter that works without cookies and without building a profile of you. It tells us which pages are read and roughly where visitors come from, nothing about you as a person. There is no advertising pixel on the site and no third-party tracking script.
3. Why we hold it
To ring you back, to send a technician to the right address, to prepare and keep the written price, and, for a new door, to file the permit and the association submittal in your name. Job records also matter later, for the warranty on the parts and for the design-pressure paperwork an insurer or buyer may ask for.
4. Who else sees it
The independent technician or installing contractor who takes your job, so they can call ahead and arrive prepared. The City of Port St. Lucie, St. Lucie County, Martin County or Indian River County building office when a permit is pulled. Your community's architectural committee when a door needs its approval. The companies that run our phone line, form delivery and website hosting, which handle the data for us and nobody else. We do not sell, rent or trade contact details, and we do not hand them to advertisers.
5. How long it stays
Job records stay as long as the parts warranty, the permit history and ordinary bookkeeping call for. Call recordings are kept for a shorter period and then dropped. When a job is finished and you would rather not be on file, write to hello@portstluciegaragedoor.com and the contact details are deleted while the bare record of the job is kept.
6. Your side of it
You can ask what we hold about you, correct it, or have it removed, by email. You can decline call recording by saying so when the call connects. This site is for adults arranging garage door work in Port St. Lucie, St. Lucie County and Martin County, Florida; we do not knowingly gather anything from anyone under 18, and if we learn we have, we delete it.
